I don't remember seeing him in the animated series but this reminded me of my favorite picture from the book. Just the way he was curled up on that cloud was so cute!

In fact Moomins were originally written in Swedish, but Tove Jansson was as finnish as she could be even though her language was swedish :) I love your picture! I have never seen any pictures of Joxter in Deviant Art before this. (By the way his name is "Juksu" in Finnish version).

Yes, I didn't find out that it was originally in Swedish for quite a long time after I first read it! Interesting!

Oh, I just love Joxter (as I love Snufkin <3) and this pic made me really happy. I haven´t red or wached TV series for ages. Joxter, how nicely translated to english. Joxter-Joxaren-Juksu, many names, alwaus as adorable <3
